ButtonGadget2™ is an application which automates the creation of buttons for websites and application interfaces. It can export JPG's and 32bit PNG's with full alpha channel support so they can be composited within Photoshop and other image editors.
Creating Buttons in ButtonGadget2 is easy! Just choose Load Button Set and select a button style from either your saved buttonsets, or use the online feature to download a button from our library. Once downloaded, it is stored locally for you in your ButtonSets folder. Then type in the text to be placed on the button and click the Apply Text to ALL button. Select the Build tab and you can then build and export the button in either PNG or JPG format.

Plugins
The Shape tab allows you to set a color background for each button - important for exporting as JPG. You can also load in your own custom button images by pressing the Load Image button. Plus, new in ButtonGadget2 are both the SmartStretch™ and ButtonStudio™ plugins. These plugins give you maximum flexibility in shaping your buttons, or creating them from scratch.
Also new in ButtonGadget2, is the Icon tab. There you can load and place JPG and PNG icons on your buttons.
ButtonGadget2 works best with anti-aliased screen fonts found in Windows XP and MacOSX.

ButtonGadget2 comes with an online browser where you can preview a number of preset buttons (called "buttonsets") to choose from. A simple click downloads them and stores them in a folder with your other buttonsets. And, if you like, you can build your own presets and store them as well. Also, because ButtonGadget2 is a 'portable app,' you can load it on a USB thumb drive and take it with you, buttonsets and all!
