Windows RunRev users can use ButtonGadget Pro with all the functionality of the executable PLUS the ability to copy 4-stage buttons directly to RunRev stacks.
About ButtonGadget for Runtime Revolution

If you're a Runtime Revolution developer and a registered ButtonGadget user, you can use a beta version of ButtonGadget Pro to help build interfaces for your applications. ButtonGadget builds 4-state buttons with transparency so they work on any background. It will also export the button to your stack! Choose from an ever expanding library of buttons, or build your own. Want to learn more? Take the Tour.

How to use...

WinXP users will find a copy of the ButtonGadget stack named appropriately: "buttongadget" (no .rev) in the path:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ButtonGadget\Plugins

Please be sure and open it from here, so it will be able to access all of the ButtonSet files already downloaded and/or created. Please note, the "Load ButtonSet -> Online Buttons" will download the ButtonSets correctly, but then launch the ButtonGadget Application. Just close the Application and you can access your ButtonSets from within RunRev.

In order to take full advantage of ButtonGadget's features, it's important to build you buttons with transparent channels. You can do this by unchecking the Use Background Bolor checkbox in the Image Settings tab for each button you wish to copy.

Then, after you build the button, press the Add this button to stack button at the bottom of the View Button tab. Name the button - then the image files along with a button will be copied to the designated stack. The image files are initially set to visible, you should then hide them (or have them located on a card no one will see). Next, move your button to any card in the stack and it will work. Do not delete the source image files you have hidden, or the icon's won't show correctly.

Apple ButtonGadget Alpha RunRev version

UPDATE: This stack will not work on Macs. I'm working on a released version of ButtonGadget for Mac and Lindows currently.
